In Where's My Water?, every chapter in Swampy's, Allie's or Cranky's Story have a cutscene whenever the first level is opened. The Lost Levels also has one and the Mystery Duck's Story has one when the player starts Meet Swampy. The player can double tap the screen to skip them.

Swampy's Story

Meet Swampy

Lurking in the city's underground sewers, Cranky sabotages and disables Swampy's shower by biting one of the pipes while two other alligators open a fire hydrant valve.

Troubled Waters

Cranky and Allie laugh and tease at an embarrassed Swampy while riding on a boat, because Swampy intends to stay clean as possible, as to not swim in the poison water.

Under Pressure

The alligators are having a picnic at the beach. Cranky and Allie try to eat fish with their hands while Swampy sits at a clean table using cutlery to eat one of the fish. Pushy and Shovey are in the water fighting while Karl is trying to swallow a bag of garbage.

Sink or Swim

In the city dump, Cranky gives Allie a dead rat, but Allie seems to be distracted, where she sees Swampy holding a purple bow, causing Allie to become Swampy's girlfriend moments later.

Change is Good

After giving Allie a new bow, Swampy takes her on a musical ride as she deflects a pipe burst of poison water with her umbrella to Cranky, aiming it to his eyes.

Boiling Point

The alligators take a trip outside a nuclear factory facility on a wintry day, while Swampy gives Allie another ride on a shopping cart, Cranky watches with another gator used as bait for Swampy so that he and Allie can be together again.

Stretched Thin

The alligators put on a Rapunzel-like show together while Cranky gets frustrated after many attempts to break up the romance of Swampy and Allie. Swampy plays a role as the prince, as a stage fright gator played. As the Rapunzel-like Allie forgets his line, she comes over to help out.

Caution to the Wind

In the city's air vents, Allie gets worried as she watches Swampy going on a ride after Cranky and the other alligators find a new device.

Rising Tide

At Swampy's House, Cranky and two alligators sit on a sofa, while Swampy and Allie make cupcakes before his collection gets looted by one of the alligators.

Out to Dry

The alligators find a mud patch in the city park to enjoy a rainy day in a muddy rainforest. As Cranky jumps on two alligators, Allie encourages Swampy to play with her, but Swampy still hates being dirty.

Allie's Story

Warming Up

Elsewhere in the sewer, Swampy and Cranky build a huge organ as a special gift for Allie in her new organ room.

Tuning In

Allie performs in a jazz concert while Swampy brings her food, and Cranky takes a role of a security guard, blocking two gators.

Rising to the Top

Allie performs in a rock concert, which awakens the entire city while Swampy takes a role of a concert tour manager, as he serves out popcorn and t-shirts alongside with Cranky guarding the gate asking an alligator to pay a pair of fish.

Symphony in Steam

In a theater, Allie performs as the conductor of an orchestra while Swampy and Cranky hold flowers as they watch Allie from behind the curtains. The ending shows Swampy and Cranky (unseen) throwing flowers and possibly a fish to Allie for a great musical performance.

Cranky's Story

Cranky's First Course

Elsewhere in the sewer is Cranky's Lair, where Cranky runs out of poison water and his food remains covered in algae. This was likely because he sabotaged one of the pipes in the "Meet Swampy" cutscene.

Hunger Pains

Swampy, Allie and their neighbors celebrate Cranky's Birthday, but Cranky is still hungry.

Bulking Up

Swampy decides to help Cranky get some exercise to get him back in shape in the city's subway yard, but all Cranky wants to do is eat.

Overstuffed

Swampy and Allie are on a dock using bait at the end of their fishing rods to feed Cranky. But as Cranky keeps swimming, he misses the bait and pulls on the rods, even Allie's rod came loose from her grip. The dock starts to collapse while Swampy and Allie watch helplessly. The ending shows Cranky with a full stomach sleeping.

Mystery Duck's Story

Swampy and Allie put on a magic show while Cranky and the other alligators play and eat with magic things.

The Lost Levels

10 Days of Swampy

10 Days of Frankenweenie

On a Halloween night in the sewer, a long line of young alligators wearing costumes trick or treating at the sewer. Cranky scares a pair of young gators and a parent, Allie serves a batch of cupcakes as she watches the younger alligators passing by. Swampy watches helplessly as one of the young alligators eats all of his candy while being encouraged by his parent.

Trivia

  • In the Cranky's First Course cutscene, Cranky seems to be hungry due to his poison water pipe being broken. This is likely because he intentionally sabotaged one of the pipes that were similar to the one in the "Meet Swampy" cutscene.
  • The ending cutscene of 10 Days of Swampy was originally at the end of Sink or Swim. This was moved in v1.13.0.
  • Allie's face from the Mystery Duck cutscene can be seen in the episode Meet Swampy on a picture frame as Swampy inspects a fire extinguisher (which he thinks it's a jetpack).

In Where's My Water? 2, cutscenes are played to the player when they unlock a new location. Some locations also have ending cutscenes. Unlike Where's My Water?, cutscenes are videos in Where's My Water? 2 rather than images that are panned.

Sewer

  • Swampy's Intro (Level 1): The cutscene introduces Swampy the alligator who loves to take showers while playing with his duck. He splashes all the water out of his tub, causing a malfunction to the shower. He looks at the player with disappointment.
  • Allie's Intro (Level 7): The cutscene introduces Allie the musical gator who loves to play her organ. As Allie try's to create a new song, Swampy interrupts her by playing his "drums". Allie starts to join in but her organ runs out of steam, as she fixes her organ, it causes a malfunction. She looks at the player with disappointment.
  • Cranky's Intro (Level 14): The cutscene introduces Cranky the big hungry gator who loves to eat "food". Swampy and Allie are having lunch up until a long noodle causes to slip from both of their grips. The camera pans to Cranky who is revealed to be slurping up all of his foods, Cranky spews out a chicken covered with algae and looks at the player angrily.

Trivia

  • The Sewer doesn't have a beginning or ending cutscene, but rather one for Swampy, Allie and Cranky. These cutscenes are played on the first level of the respective character.
  • The first cutscenes (from The Sewer, Soap Factory and Beach) have the same format as Swampy's Underground Adventures.
  • Ending cutscenes are only played when pressing "Next" of the last level of a location, but not when pressing "Next" after completing a challenge. For example, in order to view the ending cutscene of Soap Factory, the player has to press "Next" after completing What Does it Mean? "Cranky" in order for the cutscene to appear. It doesn't appear when pressing "Next" after completing the "Duck Swap" and "Driller" challenges of the level.
